The 2014 Oscars were not short on fashion, fun, and apparently food! Ellen brought the humor, celebs brought the fashion, and artists brought the music. There were so many great moments but here are my top 10:
10. Meryl Streep
Meryl never ceases to amaze when she takes on a role and it shows were her record breaking 18 oscar nominations!
9. Pharrel's Style
Pharrel Williams always has a unique take on fashion. He pushes boundaries and makes a statement. So of course the Oscars was another outlet to show his style
8. U2 performs 'Ordinary Love'
One of my favorite songs my them? Performance was simple and beautiful.
7. Jared Leto Suit & Speech
Loved the suit and the speech was moving, mentioning his mother and acknowledging AIDS victim just shows how much he deserves that award
6. Pharrel Dance Party
Pharrel brought the crowd to it's feet and made the move, by coming down and doing a "happy" dance with them
5. Pink sings and looks beautiful
She sounded wonderful during her tribute to Judy Garland and her dress was 'Ruby Red' Radiant
4. Ellen's Pizza Party!
I would've loved to be at the Oscars enjoying a yummy slice of cheese pizza! I might've had 3 slices
3. Jump for Joy !
12 Years a Slave wins for Best Picture and Director Steve McQueen shows his well deserved enthusiam
2. Lupita WINS !!
The gorgeous and talented Lupita Nyong'o wins for her performance in 12 Years A Slave, her gown and speech were beautiful! "..your dreams are Valid"
1. SELFIE !!!!!
The group selfie that crashed twitter and received over 2 million Retweets!! Ellen did what she wanted to do and made history! Best selfie ever !
The 2014 Academy Award were definitely a night to remember! Hope Ellen hosts again, maybe she'll order Chinese next year! Until next post, stay Fierce!
